Spa Etiquette
Communicating your preferences:
All aspects of treatment can usually be modified to your preference: amount of light, volume of music, table temperature, and whether you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. Feel free to ask questions. Your therapist will appreciate knowing your thoughts and clarifying any issues you may have.
Modesty Concerns:
It is never required that you are unclothed in front of anyone at our day spa. Towels and robes are provided when necessary. Therapists are well trained in the “art of draping” which means that they leave the treatment room while you get under the sheet on the massage table, and they keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are massaging. They also leave the treatment room before you get up from the table.
What to Wear during Your Treatment:
If you are having a treatment for the first time, feel free to ask the receptionist or therapist how you should be dressed for treatment. We want to make sure that you are comfortable, so please let us know if you have questions.

Our trained therapists are here solely to help improve your wellness. If a therapist ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately and direct you to the front desk.
Cancellation Policies
24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 24-48 hours in advance via text and email because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, we reserve the right to apply a Cancellation Fee of 50% of the appointment(s) cost. The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping the Still Waters team members schedules filled, thus better serving everyone.
NO SHOW POLICY:
If you NO SHOW your appointment we will give you a call or text to make sure everything is ok. We know life happens. However, if you no-show we reserve the right to request that you pay 80% cost of the missed appointment(s).
We cannot receive text or email cancellations, please call 815-844-2333 to make changes to your appointment.
GIFT CARDS
Still Waters & previous True Essence Tranquility gift cards do not expire HOWEVER, they do indeed deprecate in value after 1 year of purchase date by 50% and an additional 10% each additional year. Gift cards reaching its lowest value of $5.00 can be exchanged for a single retail item*.
